Golfing in Spain/Portugal (1 Viewer)

Anyone take their clubs way for the winter and play in Spain Portugal and how much, won't bother if it's silly money to play, quick look and there seems to be some society's in Benidorm and can't see them paying silly money.

I go to La Manga for a few months and play with a kind of society that originally started with the Camping Club Rally.
Last year we paid 25 Euro's on one course and 30 on another.
I also played at the West Course at La Manga which has a list price of 160 Euro's but during February this was reduced to 45 Euro's.
If you can get at least 4 people together then there are deals to be had.

We play regularly in the Costa Del Golf.

It ain't cheap, but there are deals on now and again.

We do play a few 9 hole courses which tend to be cheaper.

The cheapest time to play here, is in the summer, which is their low season, but it's just too hot to play and enjoy.

Apart from that, cant help because I hate GOLF !! Sorry.... Tell you why over a pint somewhere..

Winter golf is their peak time and can be expensive. As previously said deals can be had, but still not cheap. Sunday afternoons tend to be cheapest.

My brother is a golfist, and he often plays in the Algarve. His opinion is that it is really expensive, but the courses are very good.

Some courses do a twilight round in the summer, tee off around 18.00hrs as many holes as you can get in before dark, closing time,

Thanks for the replys it was just a thought, once paid £80 quite a few years ago at St Andrews but that was special not that keen now.
Looks like I will be better keeping the space for the beer & wine

I'm disappointed, however has anyone done the earlystarter, Got a tenner do you want it or not ? I use it regularly and it invariably works. Clubs berth is prebooked, what else can you use an overcab bed for, along with the fishing gear and sat dish ??
