So anyone seeing a dark grey Kangoo with a GB magnet stuck on its bottom on the motorway...it's me!!😁😁😁😁
No work, just driving to visit my daughter and SIL and of course little Mathis, now 4 years and a half. Having fully recovered from his shaken baby syndrom. Trial against the childminder probably this summer.... Enjoy your weekend all!!
And for those driving on French roads mind all the froggies hopping everywhere 😄😄😄

I think there must be a strange local holiday near Saumur. The campsite has suddenly filled up completely with large groups of French men of all ages. Some are wearing football shirts but not from a specific team. Some are wearing funny hats. They are incredibly happy and noisy. It’s very peculiar. No women or children.

Such a gorgeous photo of you both, he is adorable.

We have solved the mystery of all the big groups of men of all ages. It’s a local football tournament for lots of local teams. Some looked far too old and fat so I presume must be the managers and coaches! They had a massive party last night in a hall at the campsite. Most have disappeared this morning. The cycle lanes were used as parking lanes . It was all very friendly and loud as you can imagine.
 
I'm back on the road.
Noticed quite a few UK cars, and 2 or 3 vans but one especially, with 2 GB stickers on each side of the plate. Went in front put my warning on as they had their ceiling vent/skylight?? wide open, then, opened my window and tried to indicate them where the problem was. They put their warning on and went out of the motorway. I hope everything is fine! If you're funster, tell me if there was no damage!!!
I'm half way from home, on an aire, next to BESSINES-SUR- something

Frankie once posted a video doing an English lesson with one of her grandkids (I think). You'd be surprised to hear her accent as opposed to what you'd imagine 😊😊😊😊

Yes,I remember thatone although I think it was one of the nursery children. You would never suspect that she was French!:giggle:

Jim and Sian were there too and a lot of other funsters ... Hildweller (another funster who has vanished, I often wonder what's happened..) was also there.

Hi Frankie you had better luck than me then, saw a Motorhome on the motorway as I was overtaken it with its top vent fully open so purposefully pulled over to the inside lane and slowed down so they would overtake,
all went well until they were alongside me and I gesticulated with my finger pointing upward to the roof,
The lady in the passenger seat went ballistic :LOL: and gave me many signs back that weren’t very complimentary:rolleyes:
