Going to be a bit sad when he comes home frome schoole

I had to take jays ferret to the vets yesterday she had a obstruction in her gut she had a operation to try and clear it unfortunately she passed on abut 2.45 in my hands today at home dredging the wee man coming home.

Feeling the loss of a pet is sadly the price we pay for loving them.

He has taken it very well obviously up set we have burred her in the garden he made a small casket out the bottom of a big washing powder box and lined it with kitchen roll and used the top for a lid

thanks Carole it's all part of growing up life can be cruel at time's but he will get over it

Oh dear. Doesn't matter which type of animal your pet is you're upset when they go.

I lost all but three hens and all my ducks one night when Mr Fox came visiting and daughter was late locking them up. We took in more rescue hens but never replaced the ducks.

That's a shame Bill, hope the Wee Man's ok. We're on the lookout for a snipped hob as a friend of ours just lost their boy last week and the harem needs a new Sultan !
