Hi everyone
Firstly thanks for adding me to site.
After 2 years of having a motorhome,we have taken the plunge and gone full time motorhoming. having toured around our own beautifully country for the past 4 months, we now plan to try out travelling through europe for the winter.
Any advise gratefully received, particularly on health insurance for long term visits to europe.
Jean and george.

Simple really, get a cup of tea, sit down and get searching. There are hundreds of pages of advice and experience on here that you will not get repeated in a single thread. Keep the tea flowing, it will take the best part of a week.

Morning and welcome. I am planning to go fulltime from about this time next year and have been doing lots of homework. Lots of information to be found to help. The most important one seems to be the brick address business. If you still own a brick address then lots of insurance companies will offer 365 insurance. If you no longer own then it is more of a problem.

Store up your freezer with proper bacon ! From a personal point of view I would just keep it as cheap and easy as possible until i knew what the finances were, so the obligatory aire book, france passion book, camper contact and then use searchforsites where it is possible to download on maps.me (another freebie) then i would just head south for the winter, either Languedoc Spain or Italy, then follow my nose. (I dont think about this more than 8 times a day at the moment)

my apologies to all, for a very delayed reply to all of your great advice.
Erm.. embarrassing but about 2yrs of a delay.. Sorry.
The last 2yrs have been filled with highs and lows, but thankfully mainly highs. It's been an adjustment period and a learning curve. We have changed our motor home, to a Burstner with a fixed bed, felt this was suitable for us full timing.
We have been initiated into the winter sun seeking, as our motor home doesn't like the cold and refuses to hold on to its water if its to cold(another learning curve)
we are currently travelling in spain. We have met some lovely fellow travellers and gained valuable advise and knowledge from them.
Hopefully I'll get the hang of using this forum and post more frequently
Thanks again for all the advise offered. X
