With all that's going on in the world we've been hesitant on going abroad but have decided to go for it
Been three years now since last trip to Europe not kept up to date with the changes so any advice would be grateful
We will be travelling in our (2 adults) and one dog Autotrail Chieftain going thru the tunnel to Denmark where we have been before as swmbo is Danish, our biggest concern are the rules for pets ,we have her passport and she is due a rabies booster this year but I understand they now have to have blood tests , and has anything changed when we come back ie visit the vet within 5 days for the tablet and then book in at Calais or has that changed .Anyway thanks for any advice

No change for the return to UK however you do need an Animal Health Certificate from a vet prior to travel to EU as UK pet passports are no longer accepted in the EU.

The animal health certficate is valid for 10 days after signing.

Will be interesting to hear /see how your trip goes if traveling through the Netherlands.

We were planning a trip to Norway for some midnight sun and some fishing
Going out via Harwich to the hook.
Then up to Emshaven and a mini cruise to Kristiansan.

Then changed plans Spain Portugal instead :giggle:

Norway can wait till later in the year.

Have a great trip

I'd drive to Hull and overnight on the ferry, have a decent kip and save 400km's driving.

Never came across any tolls when we were there in 2017 easy driving it’s mostly flat👍😊

Can't advise on the dog issues I'm afraid, but please do keep us updated on your trip to Denmark. It sounds wonderful.

You have missed out,,nipped over to France and Spain legally in 2020 for 8 weeks,,,felt really safe and again in 2021 spring and autumn and again felt safer in Europe than U K.To old to wait about and miss a years travelling.BUSBY.

I understand they now have to have blood tests
That is incorrect. They have to have up to date rabies jab, microchip and an AHC. No blood test required.
