The OP also asked about going out of the UK via the Tunnel but hasn’t got a response to this question so far, any experiences?
There are a number of us gone over to Germany in another thread, general consensus is that it is even more of a piece of wee wee than usual.
You turn up, they put you on the next available tunnel train, which you might share with up to 10 vehicles. They were running 3 an hour but cancelling the odd one due to no business.
No getting out of van whilst transiting, no toilets. No Q14 if transiting direct from Germany through belgium and france.

We went through the tunnel, U.K. to France, on 27/8. It was the same as usual but quieter. Passports checked by uk staff, waved through the French checkpoint, and nothing at all on the French side.
We have subsequently crossed into Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel and although there were half a dozen police / border guards standing around having a chat, nobody even glanced at us.
We have completed the required declarations for both France and Italy but nobody has asked for or looked at them.
We have noticed there are lots of Dutch around, but not seen another British motor home, and very few British reg cars.
We’re getting a ferry to Greece tomorrow so it’ll be interesting to see how that goes.

We we’re looking at the U.K. q14 requirements yesterday, for if it’s still in place when we get back. It’s a total nonsense and contradicts itself several times.
