I am a newbie
I know its been covered before but to gather all available comment if you can please help.

I am about to install a solar panel. What is the best product and method for:

1) Bonding the panel brackets to the roof.

2) Sealing the cable entry through the roof.

My MH is a 2007 Lunar

Thanks

many many years! since I was a kid
my preference is sikaflex, which is expensive but does the job really well, bonds well to a roughened surface and seals permanently. one drawback though is once opened you need to use it up quickly or it will set in the tube, if you have a few sealing or bonding jobs, prepare them all so you can do them as soon as the tube is started. once set its like rubber, tough but flexes.

another drawback is if you want to unstick something bonded with sikaflex it needs to be cut off, so get it right first time

We also use sikaflex and have done so for year. expensive but the best. Bill has done ours with brackets that are stuck with sikaflex.
