Hi All I Just rejoined the forum as you have a section for Globecar ‘s

This is our third Globecar PVC current van 2020 Globescout Plus 165bhp on a Peugeot Boxer Maxi Chassis
only had it 5 months .(one trip to Spain & back before the lockdown.)

So far fitted Rear view camera 120º (180º are no good for rear distance viewing) fitted next to High level brake light ( without drilling holes in the body work. Cable routed through brake light, by drilling a hole and re soldered the wires inside the van , Fitted Reversing camera next to Nº plate lights,

Converted the Step into Auto retract by adding extra relay.

Insolated the rear doors and side sliding one.

Lagged all the waste pipes with insolation foam

Fitted a folding Step to get on the bed with

Added half way stop on the side sliding door

Made up matching covers for the dinning seat, front seats and headrest’s also cover for the rear bed mattress.

Fitted thick curtain across rear doors;

6kg LPG bottle with remote fill point.

Spacer kit for Sun visors with Remis blinds

Extra lights ,solar panel fitted & wired up 12v sockets, fitted 12v socket with battery 12v display and Temp

Added fire extinguisher, smoke and Co2 alarm

Fridge Cooling Fan system made up and fitted

Next project Stone guard grill /mesh to cover the front radiators
 
We have just taken delivery of Globecar Globestar 640 DK....

No mods yet, just modification to operate Spainish and UK gas bottles....

Hi Do you have the Regulator for the Spanish bottles yet ?
If not There is a shorter one used in Northan Ireland ( Its just an on and off valve that fits then you can use your existing truma Regulator ).you can also buy the link pipe as well.
can let you have link if needed !

Whilst I will admit to owning two Globecars at the same time previously I can assume you that at present I just have a big white garden ornament ... aka a Carthago! :giggle:
