Hi all,

How about a thread for Globecars spotted - on the road, in a campsite, parked up,... well anywhere!

I drove from Taunton to Moffat yesterday and had to divert off the M6 where it was closed at J25. There was a silver Roadscout (regn CH61) who I first saw on the M60 (or it could have been the M61). We played leap frog until they exited towards Kirby Lonsdale.
I'll see if I can find/download an image off my dashcam but...

Was it you?

Not me - but what a great thread start-up.

Sadly I've not seen a Globecar on my travels yet.

I can't edit the original post so here is the pic from the first sighting off the dashcam.

Wow, my first Globecar sighting - on the A690, Wolsingham, County Durham.

A very nice looking 13-plate Campscout.

Andrew, we are not that far from there. Parked up for the night on a CL in Middridge near Shildon.

It's a lovely part of the world Terry so I do hope you get good weather for your visit. I was passing through Wolsingham today on my way to Essex-land.

The MoHo dealer in Wolsingham (Robsons) has a couple of Pilote/Danbury PVCs on their forecourt but I'm not sure if they'll ever sell them as they never seem to be open.

Enjoy your stay Terry,

All the best,

Andrew

Some people don't like that game where you overtake then get overtaken after awhile they just turn off.:)

I was just so glad that I wasn't parked on the M6 for hours... and I had the music up loud so was driving to the music.
Hope you had a good trip.
