Looking to upgrade 540 prime to Lithium. Looks like I need to bypass the CB516-3 for a lithium 230v charger ..
Any advice as change over doesn't look straight forward
The Victron dc-dc shouldn't be a problem.
Also regarding Tyres. The Michelin Camper tyres are horrible. Can feel too much road surface . Any recommended tyre upgrade . Thanks in advance

How old is your van? Ours is 2021 and the la battery was just replaced with a 230 ah lithium. We didn’t need to upgrade the solar controller but other stuff just needed adjusting to lithium.

Hi,

Mine's a 2023.

Looking at the info on the CB516-3 for mains hook up, this device can be set for lead acid/agm but not Lithium . Maybe the AGM setting is ok for Lithium ?

Did you feel the need to change your tyres ?

Thanks

Lenny HB electrics/lithium questions and tyres too which I'm sure you'll enjoy answering!

The 516-3 has an automatic desulphastjon phase so not suitable for lithium, threw mine in the bin.

Changed the tyres on my one year old van, wished I'd done it sooner.

We didn’t change the tyres.

Hi , Quick question regarding the CB516-3 removal. With the 12v output now from DS300 going to the leisure battery via new lithium charger is there any other mods in the ds300 output that may need doing. Thanks in advance
