Please can anyone help, we are going down from Calais to Gibraltar late Sept. We would like to use Aires in spain on route. Can you send through ones that are recommended and safe. We are hopping to pay under €10 a night.. many thanks

They are all safe really.. We just pull in to anywhere lorries are parked... and they are free

Palencia. There is a private aire called Suances where (at last visit in May), it was free and they also supply hook up. I use it every time I go back to Gib.
Camper Contact lists all of them en route. Caceres, Badajoz, are both free and in nice cities/regions.
Enjoy the trip down the western side of Spain. So much more interesting than the Med.

Camper contact app I think is about £5.. a good investment.

At Gibraltar, go to the football stadium in lalinea, about 5 euros per night no facilities, you can always pop round to marina, for 12 euros the odd night to use facilities. Or go to los barrios lots of Van's and free. You can get away with parking anywhere at beach parks in september, after tourists leave.

Anyone no which is the best for access for Gibraltar. Bit of a mobility issue might have to get scooter out but don’t really want to. Plus what’s the situation re dogs. TIA

The marina stop-over has facilities and is just next to the border crossing. Could always take the van across the border. Not sure about dogs.
