When travelling solo, where can you get travel insurance for your dog?
In the event of being injured yourself ,for example , and not having someone to attend to the dog.

When I saw the title of this thread I intended to reply with the flippant question "Is the dog travelling independently?"
But it is a serious question and my guess is there isn't anything like a repatriation service for dogs. The mutt would probably have to go in kennels, at your expense, until you were fit.
Or put a plea on here for help. You should find someone to help if you were in Spain or France say.

It's a specific incident I experienced when travelling a few years ago.
I injured myself and was left with the quandary , what do I do with my dog while I go to the hospital , albeit relatively briefly, a few hours .My Insurance company were clueless.I wasn't fit to drive.
