Not one life preserve to be seen and those guys could easily be washed away. Crazy times and the captain of the ferry must really know his stuff and some pretty good bow thrusters I should think.

Seen similar many times, but only had to disembark in those conditions once, thank goodness.

Those ferries are a lifeline for those small islands.
