You and me both...I was gutted. I always have low expectations of dealers of any kind but I was so looking forward to getting Bud home. I suppose it's better to discover these things at the dealership rather than later. Our 11 year old said "It's doomed...don't get it!" ...

I think I'd have taken it home having first arranged an appointment to go back and have the problem rectified next week. At least you could have had fun playing with it over the weekend.

Having said that I can change a water inlet cap& fitting in probably 10 minutes so why can't they?

It was easier to leave it there as in work all week and then meant to be away next weekend. They know this and are hoping to deliver it to us before then.

It was the locking mechanism on the exterior locker...no service personnel there at weekend only sales

Ridiculous really. All it is is undo the 3 screws holding the assembly in to the body. Undo the internal jubilee clip , waggle the complete unit out & put a complete new one in. . reverse the process.

Don’t worry all will be well. My flair was returned back when delivered with a problem and I still love it 20 years on and lots of happy memory’s you will to ,just stay positive it will be home soon.

Yes build date 2001,blue sun strip is part of the screen ,when a stone hit it I had it replaced at the factory in polch.They we’re so helpfull.

Just a thought if they couldn’t get to the waste water tap is it full of old waste water,might be an idea to ask them to check? When you get it home a waste tank clean could be in order.

I seriously hope not! I am sure it opened when I first looked around it..i think that someone there has done it.

Update time!! Received a call from Red Lion Caravans this morning to say that a transport company is delivering our motorhome this afternoon
The salesman, Simon, was very apologetic and said not to hesitate to get in touch if I had any problems....oh trust me I will .
