Just thought I'd post how easy it is to get your C1+D1 and towing options back.
My husband let the C1 go at age 73, he'd gone through the D4 medical etc at 70 with no problems but with smaller camper he thought 'why bother' at 73. Well we changed the camper to a Globecar Campscout and would like to uprate, so at 77 now :-
D4 medical done at our Dr £15, yes I'm not sure they realise how much others charge!!
D4+D2 sent to DVLA
10 days later new licence back.
So providing no medical conditions which would prevent this not a problem to get C1 back.

That’s good to know. Thankyou. I plan to fill in the correct forms just before my 70thbirthday, but I now know Ivan follow your path if I forget!
