Having discussed the matter with my insurers NFU, and reading the same discussion matter from others, it's only travel insurance that may be null and void, should you travel against the FCO's advice for particular countries.Regarding travelling in Europe at the moment what insurance cover are you using and is it valid if the FCO advises against all but essential travel.

Hi PandaUnfortunately there are a large number of those in the UK that do not want to comply or understand the importance (some on this forum no doubt). Eventually it might filter through but blimey it takes some an awful long time for some to clock it.

I was driving through Wythenshawe on Thursday. Saw around a dozen trams. About 50% were not wearing masks. On one tram, not one person had a mask on.
currently on the coast with grandchildren and the dog, if you can spot him.

Vehicle insurance is unaffected....I'm with Safeguard and phoned and checked.... as for health insurance we have just taken a policy with Staysure.....they will (for a very small additional fee) give cover even for countries the FCO advise against travelling to...the only caveat to that is they wont cover for what the FCO advice is in relation to...ie Covid.....but they will cover for everything else....plus they will cover for trips up to 100 days which again is great im my opinion..Good Morning everybody newbie here, been following the forum for a number of years, been a Motorhomer for 15 years and just subscribed!

Plenty of snow in the Pyrenees this weekend, some passed had to be closed, but all seem to be cleared and open now. Came over the pass at Bacqueria near Viella Friday in the van, was very tricky with 4/5 cm of snow covering the road and -2Ā°!! A bit early for September!!Will be hopping over the Pyrenees later this week.
