Germany packed weather crap now. Who's brave enough for Spain (1 Viewer)

As title says which is my thinking right now
Im in Vianden Luxembourg and will be here or in the area for another week

Plan was to go to the Mosel but weather has turned and its still busy

Im temped to do a month in Spain

Happy to consider other options go a month or more to burn

Northern Spain, Navarra to Galicia, has been very quiet, scenery superb, but it has been chilly. Not seen any foreign vans, just a few Spanish.

we set off on the venture south on wednesday

We are just back from Benidorm, go and enjoy it, it's no more risky than anywhere else

In Spain and have been for last month and another month before heading to uk.
All quiet, seems no different virus wise to being in the UK.
Just need to wear masks at all times if in populated areas.

Arrived in Benicasim today..feels much safer than France..Site taking it very serious..Toilets cleaned every two hours,Swim.ing pool by appointment..Supermarket plenty of sanitisers and SD being kept,,every one masked even in the street.Weather brilliant BUSBY.

Been in Spain for a month and it’s been great. Hand sanitiser outside every shop/bar/restaurant, everyone wearing masks where necessary and even spray painted arrows on the pavements to show the direction to travel in.

Some bars and restaurants are closed but plenty are still open, we found it good because you try different places. We stayed at camping La Torreta.

Kohinoor indian
Andy's bar
Uncle Peds
Mariano's

Other open places;
Red lion
Eastern spices
Union jack
Bamboo Chinese
Silver dollar
And many others..

Places closed;
All Yorkshire prides
Tavern (permanently)
Both JJ's
Western saloon bar
El bodega booze shop
Sinatras
Talk of the town
Morgan's tavern
Outback bar
Surprise attack
And most of bar street.

It's still the one and only Benni you'll love it

Beepin freezing here in Germany, and it's wet n windy - they must know we are back in the UK in a couple of weeks and are getting us acclimatised. Far more worried about how Covid is being dealt with in the UK than I am in Germany, or even France and Italy.

Yes but in a country with over twice the land mass & 67% of the UK's population ,so the chance of bumping in to someone infected is far less.
You also have to remember that todays 6k+ in the Uk is likely to be double that next week.

Totally depends where you live in the UK and where you are in Spain.

Unfortunately there are a large number of those in the UK that do not want to comply or understand the importance (some on this forum no doubt). Eventually it might filter through but blimey it takes some an awful long time for some to clock it.

But the Uk daily test results are now down to 28% of those tested I read today ? where do the other 72% disappear to & what are the results?

Gloves given out here when you enter the supermarkets,shops, outside markets, along with sanitiser. No problem buying gloves here
Mercadona have always sold latex ones in boxes of 50 but ay ferreteria will have vynil or nitrile in 100's. price back to as it was before this started around 5 €/100

Funny enough I'm in Munich and just said to the wife I've had enough of this weather let's go to Spain and guess what she said Yes .so off we go Monday .
