My Certificate arrived today, 4 Green which according to the Berlin website is and I quote

"Berlin requires the green sticker, which stands for the emission group with the lowest level of pollutants"

That suprised me as it`s a 2003 2.8 JTD. I would have thought more recent engines would be in that bracket ?
Does anyone know if I have been sent the wrong sticker and what are the implications ?
TIA

Stay schtum. We got a green Umweltplakette as well, on a 2006 2.8JTD. When I checked anything registered after 1/1/06 got a green ticket automatically at the time - maybe yours was issued in error, who knows, but you've got it legitimately to display and that's what matters.

My van, by the way, was registered on 2/1/06

should have been a euro 3 (yellow) up to end of 2005 . maybe the guy looked at 2003 and read as 2008 . They issued it so if asked

Colour blind admin assistant? Our March '05 MH was Umwelt yellow.

Just use it - you've followed all the correct procedures and the implications are that you now have an access all areas pass for over 80 German towns and cities.

Started 2009!
The German system as yet do not have a cleaner certificate, thus all have a green 4 sticker. Very surprising for the efficient German organisation.

I thought from around 2002 some of the JTD's had a CAT and were Euro 4, your certificate of conformity will have the Euro number on it.
