I have a Knaus panel van with Gaslow bottles. The regulator came with the van and the first photo shows the connector with no gasket. The second and third photos show the original gasket which fits snugly into the notch on the connector. The last photo shows the gasket which Gaslow sell as suitable for German/Dutch regulators.
Grateful for any advice. Have you used the Gaslow gasket? Have you sourced the small gaskets and if so where?
Thanks
Jim

Those are not right, I think the Truma pigtail washers for the regulator end are the same as what you need.
Basildog should be able to advise.

Thanks Lenny. I will get in touch with Basildog.

Yes we have an adaptor that will convert that German KLF regulator fitting into a 21.8lh Butane or Shell type fitting .
I have a selection of weird Adaptors that don’t appear on our website too 👍😂

These KLF fittings actually have the washer in the male fitting face in a recess .

I thought it was just the washer he wanted.
Washer is in the male fitting so would normally be on the cylinder itself.
We do this adaptor

I do keep the washer for the male side of the fittings as am very sad like that and have my very own selection box of washers 🤔😂

Thanks Lenny and Basildog. Have I got this right - the adaptor fits between the Gaslow bottle and the regulator. I can see the washer on the male side of the adaptor - is there a washer in the female end? If so, can I get spare washers?
Thanks
Jim

No
The KLF fitting has no washer on the female side , just on the male face in a recess .
The KLF and Shell nut or Butane nut or Irish propane fittings are all the same thread but have a washer on the female side only 👍
It’s all fairly simple but I don’t think I’ve met anyone yet that believes us until we demonstrate in front or them how they all work 😂

No washer in the female side on a KLF fitting.

I’m not sure why I find this all so confusing. Here is a photo of the bottle fitting which the regulator screws onto. It seems to have a bevelled face on the inside (or is it my eyes). I have looked at the GOK No 4 adaptor on Basildog’s link and if you say that will work I will get one. I will try to have faith….

Yes that’s a Shell or Butane or Irish Propane valve 21.8 lh .
The adaptor is made to convert that to a German KLF fitting which has the washer recessed into the face 👍

Thanks both. It is ordered.
Jim

Arrived and fitted. Thanks both.
