A good excuse for a generator thread

We got one last year - only used a couple of times but worth the cost for those two occasions.

All generators produce some noise so considerate use is vital

No DB rating I could find, looks like a good alternative to the Clarke model and they supply a bendy oil funnel as well

I bought a £50 Aldi one for some unfathomable reason. It stayed in its box for ages then I used it once to help light up a cave (don't ask) and found the fuel line was very poorly secured, dripping petrol everywhere. Needed some cable ties applying.

Maybe worth double checking if the Lidl item is of similar build quality?

Lol, I used a gennie around Europe but applied noise camouflage techniques, ie long 50 M lead and put it in holes and behind rocks or whatever large objects were handy etc. Nobody knew I was using one most of the time
