I'm thinking of fitting a filter at some point. A family member has recently recovered from giardiasis which I'd not heard of before but it is very nasty. He was ill for a good two weeks. He probably picked it up from a salad or shellfish while travelling in Spain in their MH. But it can also be carried in water and the form it travels in water in is not killed by the standard chlorine treatment applied to tap water. The most effective treatment is to filter the water.
