ok so i'm sorting out new speedo cable and thought while i'm in the gearbox vicinity i may aswell swap out the oil and add some molyslip. (reverse gear can be a bit of a bugger) so thought an oil change may help, just having trouble getting a definitive amount and type of oil. i saw somewhere about adding extra 500ml to help keep the added 5th gear well oiled but couldn't work out if the figure of 2.75 litres that i read included the extra or if i need to add to the 2.75 litres.
sorry for the mundane questions its just that i've read so much info and forgot to bookmark the relevant pages i'm now spending hours trawling google trying to find a page that took me ages to find first time round.
i know where the drain plug is
and i've located the reverse light switch to fill the oil so just this last bit of info needed.
