Still to decide.....
Greetings one and all.

I've recently joined as I'm planning a considerable length of time travelling and I will need a suitable vehicle. The depth of experience and suitable information on here is truly impressive and will be reading as many relevant threads as possible.

I am planning to get a van conversion, with a shower, toilet, kitchen and bed (that I don't need to make each day) plus 4x4 and a bit of extra ground clearance. Happy for any recommendations or suggestions.

Welcome from Sussex.

The following website may give you food for thought. For 4x4 you're probably looking at a Mercedes 815D either 2x4 or 4x4. I think Fiat Ducato made a 4x4 version some time ago.

Thanks for the link, some good info on there.

Find the prices of the true "overland" vehicles staggering.
