GD900 thermal compound to redo your fridge/freezer cooling tubes

I have 8 x 30 gram tubes of GD900 high performance thermal compound left over from a project to greatly improve the cooling of our Dometic 3 way fridge/freezer. A long story, but the theory for my project was great but in practice it was over complicated for the gains, so I ended up only using 2 of the 10 tubes I bough, hence 8 tubes for sale.

The thermal conductivity of the GD900 is >4.8 W/m-k

I had previously increased or fridge/freezer performance by replaced the rubbish and dried up thermal compound that Dometic had use with Halnziye HY610 Gold with a W/m-k of >3.05, but the GD900 has an even better thermal conductivity than the Halnziye.

2 tubes should be enough to redo your fridge/freezer cooling tubes, it was for mine.

£2.50 a tube

Postage is 88 pence and I can get 2 tubes in for the same 88 pence.

I appreciate that this may appear to be a silly question to some, but whereabouts exactly, and under what circumstances would you apply this grease please?
The only servicing I have felt confident of carrying out apart from cleaning the flue, is the replacement of thermocouples, igniters, and gas jets, having isolated any power supplies first. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Behind the cooling fins in the fridge and freezer compartments are the metal pipes that carry the cold coolant and thermal grease/compound acts as a bridge to transfer the cold across to the fins and if the compound is either poor quality or dries up the the cold does not transfer to the cooling fins efficiently so the fridge/freezer does not perform at it's best.
