As the title says do you need a gb sticker displayed on the scooter for use in Spain?

Just a few last minute thoughts I'm having

I believe it would depend on your Registration plate....if it includes the country of origin or not......A circle of EU stars surround the official countries letter......A, B, D, E, F , G etc etc....
So here in Spain my scooter shows E for Espana......UK for United Kingdom.......(Not B for Brexit as I am sure someone is going to Post)

quite a few years now, and loving every minute..
as jumar says, if it's on the number plate it should be okay, but why not slap a stick on one just to be on the safe side, i always err on better safe than sorry, but i am a bit of a worry bug.. :)

Around Barcelona instead of the country registration letter you can use the type of pet you have as long as it is a cat, apparently.

The only correct & official ones are the EU ring of stars at top with country letter/s underneath. Any flags means they become unofficial/illegal.
A GB sticker would be required with any plates showing CYM/SCO/ENG/flags to be sure of not getting a fine.

I was going to write the same as you Gus, but because its my birthday I decided not too...also it might generate a thread that goes on and on and on......we know that Gonzo the Guardia officer just loves to catch us out when we arrive in Spain and claim, to know EU law, and say to him we do, but he has the power, and the side arm...so he wins hands down, always.

What you want is a friendly Gendarme like we have near where we go to in France gave us a Department sticker and told us to use it on the rear of the car and when we go through their speed trap we will be identified as locals not tourists and ignored

need a new one for Maxine

Why would it need the reg number when it's already there IN BIG LETTERS AND NUMBERS.
It needs the BS (EC) number and at least a postcode for the supplier.

Ere how comes I didn't get alerts for any of these comments/replies?
Sorry for not replying last time I looked at this there was only @airwave reply saying he wasnt sure.
Anyway I can't remember if it has it on the number plate or not ( it's reversed in the mh garage and I've so much crap in there I can't get in ) but as I'm going to go outdoors this morning to peruse their battery assortment I think I'll just pick up a sticker or two

Dont know where I can stick it though except the top box which I don't always have on the scooter cause I look like Barbie when the box is on :D2
