Gaslow EU adaptors

Probably a silly question - but that’s rarely stopped me…
When in Europe does one put the adaptor onto the hose before attaching to the vehicle or onto the filler point before attaching the hose?

The adaptors fit onto your existing inlet and then you just engage their hose on to the adaptor

Thanks ceejayt That was my guess, but I’d rather not blow myself up guessing wrongly - there are plenty of other opportunities for that!
