6kg refill from Calor = £20.75, it'll pay for itself in no time. I just filled my Gaslow system yesterday, £9 for 12.5 litres, not the cheapest rate but a convenient local garage. Local Calor Gas outlet refuse to fill it, their loss.

I don't know if we'll ever get payback in cash terms on our Alugas system but the convenience is worth it, especially as we have a LPG garage reasonable close.

We went to Sedgefield last weekend. Only 28 mile round trip so filled up with diesel on the way there (as the level was low) and with LPG on the way back. Plenty of both diesel and LPG on board for our trip to Kent next week :thumb:

Does the bottle automatically shut off the filler when it's full? How much does a 6kg bottle take?
Thanks

Yes convenience is everything. Using diesel to find cheaper lpg doesn't work at all
