Gas system - not working (1 Viewer)

Hi. We have just bought a 2005 model N+B - all good except we can't get the gas to flow through to the hob/oven. It just kind of seeps through then shuts off. Brand new bottle, regulator worked at the dealer... any suggestions?

Does anything else work (or not work) off gas? Do you know how to operate the flame failure device?

Check the gas bottle has gas and is open.
Does your fridge, water heater work on gas?
There will probably be a tap inside your van that will switch off gas to the hob and oven. These taps isolate different appliances, water heater, hob fridge etc.They are normally all together. Find this and check that this tap is open

Thank you - yes, we have different isolator taps and they are all on. I think there might be an issue with the pigtail - will pass this on though, thank you

check there is gas in the bottle its possible to lose the contents over night if theres a leak, you can tell by the weight if its full

Have you checked the crash sensor

press and hold in the green button on the pigtail, if it has one

Is everything else OK? Is it failing on all the hob and oven burners? As cmcardle75 are you sure you are working the flame failure device correctly? If everything else is working and all burners not lighting it looks like a localised problem and I would advise taking it back to the dealer, it should be looked at by a gas engineer.
