Having last posted I had run out of gas, I managed to get 2 full 6 kg bottles. But find it still won’t work, so probably swapped useable bottles!
Tried both bottles, pressed the green knob, nothing has changed since last it worked.
Any ideas, suggestions welcome. I am prepared for the usual repartee, but a solution would be appreciated?

How handy are you? If ok with a spanner go through the system bit by bit. Disconnect hose from bottle. Slightly open bottle, does gas come out? If yes connect hose, disconnect other end of hose. Open bottle a little bit does gas come out, same with regulator

do you have crash buttons on hoses as well as regulator? Can you feel the buttons doing anything?

Lost your glasses Lenny?
Nope it's you that needs to go to Specsavers.
The small green button is the crash inertia button on the regulator, the big green buttons on the pigtails are the antirupture valves.

Thanks Landry Andy, gas coming out of bottle. Tried both big and little green buttons, don’t appear to do anything. Will try testing further down the line tomorrow.

Have you checked your gas taps are turned On, normally under the cooker rings. 🙂 Bob.

You have to hold down the green button on the regulator for about 10 seconds to make sure. If that doesn't work then you probably need a new regulator.

Those crash safe regulators are a pain in the proverbials !
Lost count of the amount I have changed over the years
I ditched the one in my own van before it decided to pack up and fitted a standard one

Fixed, thanks to all who replied. Think it was the small crash button I Had not pushed in far enough/long enough. Though why it had closed I have no idea.

What he said
