Gas griddle

Looking for a gas griddle to use outside the MH. Quite fancy a flat plate like this, Amazon product ASIN B087Z3K6CMany thoughts or guidance greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Steve
I just got that very one. Had hoped to get a Blackstone but none available in UK. This one is excellent and perfect for 2-3 people. Takes at least 10 mins to get to temp for cooking but it is a heavy plate (that’s good).

Got mine for £109 direct. Excellent purchase.

Does it come with any sort of cover? I note the Cadac one has a lid and carry case.
Also While I'm thinking about it I assume I can connect this to my Calor external point on my mh with just an orange hose?

cheers

Hi Steve - there is no cover for it, but there is one a little larger than the griddle on Amazon for around £25.

Yes, I connect mine from my van BBQ point. It comes with a regulator that you will need to remove to use on your van. Very simple. I used the orange hose and fittings I had for my gas BBQ (horrible messy thing).

If you are into griddles, you will probably know that they are called Plancha in Europe and there are two types. The Blackstone type with gas and flame on 'legs' under the plate, and this (French) type where the gas comes out of a 'rose' style like a gas hob. It means the hot and cold areas of the plate whilst cooking are slightly different. On the Blackstone entire sections of the plate are hotter or cooler, and the rose style means the area over the ring is the hottest and round it is the coolest - only by a small margin BTW so great for keeping things hot whilst finishing cooking other goodies.

With the Cadac having a lid, you can turn it to stop the wind blowing the burners outwhich has come in handy a few times.
