Or do you actually have a gas cylinder or tank fitted that contains gas?

There could/should be valves for each gas appliance.
Have a hunt around. They may be turned off.

ok, that sounds like it could be the regulator then, some regulators have a button you can press in that allows the gas to initially pass through them, it might be under the regulator itself. if still no gas, then it could be a valve issue as Buzz67 suggested. the trick is to work from one and to the other, trying to eliminate one potential issue as you go along. there will be many more issues you will encounter over the next few months as you get used to your motorhome, working slowly though them and asking questions on here should get you sorted !

Easiest one is the hob (if you have one) turn it on and try to light with taper / match etc.
If you have electronic ignition then the master 12 v switch has to be on.

Ok silly question time... when you turn on cooker/hob valve (on cooker) are you pressing valve in to override thermo cut out safety unit until burner is lit????
You should hear gas coming out of burner when you do.!

Had an issue with my fridge a few days ago. Had been working fine on gas. Moved site and couldn't get it to light on gas....no clicking of ignition. Turns out that the ignition sytem for the fridge is a self contained battery. AAA type

Hi. If you have gas in the bottle and its coming out of the regulator the next thing to look for is the manifold. It will look something like this:

It has individual switches for each gas appliance. Its usually hidden away under the sink or in the bottom of the wardrobe.

We had a similar problem after collecting our (first) MH. Fortunately had stayed night near to the dealer. Went back following morning, after some trial and error (including some of the suggestions above) it turned out needed to press the crash sensor reset button in the gas locker.

my cooker lid has to be fully open to get gas flowing, it has caught us out a couple of times

How long have you had it..

you may have to push the knob in and hold while you light it and keep holding it in for a few seconds.

or does it have a lift up either glass or metal lid that may not be fully open.
