Gas Cooker Mystery? (1 Viewer)

We have a stoves gas cooker, DF500DIT Model 444447068 its got 3 gas and 1 electric burner, the electric burner came on once, then cut out, we have changed fuses but no joy it wont come on again. the gas comes on ok for a day or so then it doesnt come on again for about 12 hours! we have checked the supply thats ok, the fridge and fire still work on gas but no gas comes through to the cooker, we are flummergashted!!!! any ideas?

Thanks, that was it! did think it might be but the instruction book does,nt mention anything about it having a cut off when lid closed so went in one ear and out the other doh!
All working now apart from the electric burner, have changed fuses but no joy expect it will be the element.
