Gas connectors in France

Hi
Which connector will i need to use in france to refil my bottles and if anyone can say which one for other countries

Thanks for replies thought i would be ok for gas but think i will need a nervous refil next stop not filled before our lpg man does it for you

If it helps, I think the French system is much easier than the UK's. Screw on the adaptor, then the pump clips in easily with the three prongs. Lock the pump trigger, then press and hold the button until it stops - or as long as your nerve lasts.....:D

I would buy some thick rubber or leather gloves if you can. And a tip I've learned is when you latch the nozzle on have the handle at a position somewhere around 4 or 5 o'clock. If you have it on the other side the weight of it can unscrew the adaptor enough for a leak to occur around the O ring. :)

I kept a pair of welding gloves just for such purpose. Freeze burns can be worse that any In my experience.

Not sure if my last comment got to go on line.

But after trying two Super U’s in France where we are now both told us it is NOW ILLEGAL TO FILL GAS BOTTLES ANY WHERE IN FRANCE.!

But did manage to fill Both in a small Total Garage who had no issues with filling.

They all lock on, and unlike the UK one, they don't have to be lined up and turned, the German adaptor screws on. :D2 Bob.
