Hi,

Can anybody advise please. The first pic below is the hose that comes from the mh, the second is from the bottle. What do I need to change/connect/adapt for the two to fit together? Just been into go outdoors and they didnt know. Apologies for being clueless, any help appreciated.

Thanks

Amy

Does the MH have a wall mounted regulator?
If yes then no need for a bottle top regulator.
The hose is for a Propane bottle so connect direct to bottle if wall mounted regulator.
Get a propane bottle or connect hose to regulator if no wall mounted regulator.
If wall mounted regulator then get a new hose, 20W one end and 21.8 left hand thread on the other, get clip on connector but with a 21.8 lh thread.

So do you have a wall mounted regulator? better picture of clip on connector on bottle will help but as in post above as I was typing, get a propane bottle which the hose will fit. Make sure then that you have a high pressure hose.

The hose has a standard pol connector. The cylinder appears to have a clip on regulator. Often these have a "butane" left hand male thread but photo does not clearly show this. Which manufacturer cylinder is it?
More info on cylinder / regulator required. Can you remove regulator from top of cylinder for better photo?

The cylinder looks like Calor patio gas. It is propane but with a different connection. You need a "normal" red propane cylinder.

Do away with the green bottle. You have a Propane hose. You need another RED propane bottle.
Go to a Caravan or Motorhome Dealer and ask them for a quote to then fit a propane twin regulator to accommodate both bottles.
Auto or manual changeover regulator.
8MM or 10MM depending on your supply pipe diameter.

You will need to buy another rubber propane gas pigtail.

That looks like a Patio Gas bottle. Wrong type for your MH connection. Even if you had the correct connection, Patio Gas would be just about the most expensive way to buy your gas.

Ok, I think I've got it. So the MH has a regulator (see pic) so I don't need a regulator on the bottle. I just need a red propane bottle like the pic from Two on Tour, which will fit directly onto the connector in the MH? Does that sound about right?

Bloke in Go Outdoors looked like I was asking him about the Theory of relativity

Auto or manual changeover regulator.

If there are two regulators. Why not just a 'tee piece'? Connect them both and change over between the two bottles manually .

Having 2 regulators is not a good idea. Seen it before. Follow the LPG regulations to avoid problems or worse.

Turn the bottle round.... It'll say PATIO GAS.
I don't think you'll get an adaptor for it.
Sell it and get a red Calor propane bottle.

Why not? I have two - one calor butane reg and one French butane reg, Teed together, I swop between them, home or abroad.

With the greatest of respect to the OP, think it'd be better if we kept it simple chaps!

Post at 9.27 last night is spot on.

May be a problem, though, getting a 6kg propane, understand Calor have stopped them now.

Hi, to use that bottle you need a 27mm clip on valve, not a regulator, like this.

And to convert your POL pig tail one of these.

We have similar with a refillable bottle and a Spanish propane bottle. (y) Bob.

There you go, both from the same supplier.
