Some one gave me a BP lightweight propane bottle empty, it can be exchanged for a full one at any Homebase they told me. Off I go to Homebase to get a refill . One of the staff brings a nice clean full bottle and states that will £51 HOW MUCH £51.!!

I then took my two empty Easyfill empty bottles to the local BP garage and used their pump to fill them both, one cost £15 and the other £16.25 ?????????????

Maybe they had punched the wrong button and were quoting price for a ewe bottle not exchange?

Yes I only tried six places around 80 miles clocked up, before I got some 😂

Heading up your way this weekend and one of my 11kgs cylinders is almost empty. Did you try the BP at Holdingham as I’ll be passing right by. (y)

Been searching for days for a Calor refill, finally tracked one down at a local builders merchant yesterday, £39 for 6kg. He told me Calor are selling the business to Flogas so aren't putting more cylinders into circulation which would reduce their eventual profit. Meanwhile thousands more got bought during Covid which aren't being returned. Hence the shortage! Sounded sensible.

Not only gas prices. AdBlue has doubled in price over the last couple of months

Ah but I have plenty of that 🤣 when all said and done it’s 67% distilled water😮
It won’t be long before it can be written out in the ecu and not use it🙂
Morrisons Spalding had a lpg delivery to day first for weeks they told us

Yet again examples of how we are being ripped off. I had to pay £21.99 for a litre of engine oil two weeks ago. What a joke.

I've never used the remoska as much, especially if we are on a site.

I exchanged a Calor gas light 6kg propane bottle 2 weeks ago at Fortway Farm where I was camping and it cost me £25.50. I thought that was very cheap.

Flogas website shows prices differing for different bottle types even for same amount of gas. 10kg Gaslight £51.75 11kg leisure gas £48.75, 11kg Propane gas £37.75. Same propane in each just different bottle. And you need to return a bottle to get those prices.

We had Gas-Flow bottles installed as the previous owner of our MH kept both the calor bottles and suddenly there was a shortage of new ones.

Getting them filled in Kent was hard work as only two stations had any. Ended up getting 22 litres in Dover at the BP by Western Docks.

Another owner was going over to France and wanted a couple of litres "just in case" said all stations from Brighton along the A259 reporting they had none. The attendant came out and locked the pumps after we finished as they were out.

Now that both Brock and TAP are scaled down tankers might be getting through....

Phoned all calor suppliers in the Swansea and Swansea valley. Main calor depot in Aberdulias stopped selling gas but would take empty lite bottle eventually got refill from one off big suppliers in Swansea £25 50 . They ordered 36 received 17 when I got there at 9 am 4 people queuing outside grasping there lite bottles. That was last week before we came away.

Not had it confirmed, but I've been told that they use gas in the process of making adblue hence why it has shot up in price.
