Well it's that time again!
Garmin map update 2021.10 is out.
We're not too bad as we've got 100Mb\s connection so takes about 20 minutes to install to pc and 40ish minutes for the sat nav.
However, got to install it to 2 desktops, 2 laptops and 2 sat navs!

just done ours an old Nuvi66, 1 hour 25 minutes, I hope I have made a good job this time as last time we arrived at Calais set the route for the day, Guess what Blank screen. put it right in Spain later

The update May have some issues it seems.

now wants to use route/ roads we know the previous version wouldn’t normally have used, at One point advised narrow road unknown suitability. Wanted to go through the lay-by on the side of the A350 Just south of the A4 in Chippenham.

Perhaps need to contact Garmin,

Anyone else have issues with traffic (lack of) on the lmtd 760?

Checked last night & im still offered a 2020 Version via the Garmin PC app.
Maybe the roll out is controlled so theres not a big spike.
Not too fussed about being on the cutting edge of maps.
Just surprised the update rollout could be released in stages to users.

i had to get this last week

i had to swap my 770 camper satnav last year as it completely locked up, the new one, up to last week was working very well and went into lancashire from yorkshire to Burrs and it was spot on. Coming home 5 days later the map kept on changing rapidly, near view far view, locking, catching up, you name it it did it, so on arriving home i checked for an update and hey presto their was one.

Haven't used it since the update was done so fingers crossed but no idea why it did what it did

I updated my Garmin on Monday night, took about an hour. Yesterday on route to Sheffield it still shows the speed restrictions were the A180 junction was being altered.
The road works have been finished for a year now so who is responsible for telling the sat nav it’s no longer 50 mph ?.

Just looked at the form,,,, I don't think so! more than happy to chat and advise the issue but not to spend time punching keys with no feedback. no human contact???????????????

Yes. I’ve looked.
The site shows at least 5 different ways to tell Gogle about mapping errors.
Some have 5 steps; some more.
& having run thru one of them once later attempts would usually be simpler..
