I have a Carthago C tourer with a nice large garage. It has eyelets on the floor that I use to tie the motorbike to, which is great, but no other wall fixings. I'd like hooks on the wall that I can use bungee hooks with to hold things like camp chairs and folding tablesagainst the wall.

WIll the plastic stick on hooks work or am I looking at trying to screw hooks to the walls somehow?

I wouldn't have thought the stick-on type would be suitable for securing anything of substance. you can find D hook relatively inexpensive. It will mean you having to screw/bolt them to the walls of your garage, which should be straightforward.

The thing is, the wall I want fixings on is the rear wall, which means the screws will stick out the back of the motorhome, which I don't really want.

We have fixings on our Carthago's rear wall with bungie straps across them, fitted by Carthago with no screws etc through the rear wall so they must have strengthened battens already in the rear wall which you could utilise.

If fitted the same form of rail used on the floor across the garage roof immediately above the rear most floor rail. I can now use heavy bungees between the two. The wall fitted hooks eyes are good but are nowhere as strong or secure.

As per my post above the type of fixings we have can be seen in the left of the below photo (not our MH).

PS, the back wall will be a laminate sandwich at least 35mm thick. The inner skin, will be able to take a fixing. Or fix the rail tight to the back wall, but suspended under the bed base board.
