Can anyone tell me if they enjoyed the new Ship and were all motorhomes parked below and not out on open deck. Meal included in ticket , not had that before, can’t find any menus on the website, all other ships were there but not Galicia. Thanks 🙏

There have been a couple of conflicting reports on Fun recently. Pop the ships name in the search box, should bring them up.

Lynne Roy .... We sailed back to the UK on Galicia at the end of April.
Motorhomes were parked below and we found the food to be of very good quality.
Breakfast is continental but you can pay about £4 to upgrade to full English.
We enjoyed the crossing, it was made even more pleasant as the weather was great and the Bay of Biscay was only half metre swells.

This was the positive review, hidden away in another thread :-
Of course, just my opinion, I've only travelled on the Finistere before. This ship is so obviously new and shiny, the choice of food for the included dinner last night was fantastic, I had 5 huge shell on prawns with smoked salmon to start, then a pork steak in a tasty sauce with dauphinoise potatoes and charred green pepper and a fig I think relish, chocolate gateau to finish, it was all delicious. Wine was very reasonably priced. My cabin (just the cheapest inside one) is spotless, plenty of bathroom space, very hot powerful shower, decent size tv with live British channels, and the bed was really comfy. Good selection for breakfast this morning, included with fare, except if you want full English you pay but it was less than £6, and it looked good. Love the duty free shop, staff all helpful and polite, nothing not to like for me. I view the crossing as a necessary evil so maybe my expectations are not extremely high, as long as its clean and does what I need it to do, I'm happy. Can't find any fault so far. Oh and the free WiFi works fine, I'm sat in the lounge posting this now (y)

The Galicia was fine, staff working hard under extreme pressure. Very clean cabin, good food, Moho parked inside.

Thought the ship was poor compared to the other two regular ones.Dudnt rate the restaurants, life boats block the views from the lounges.Think all vehicle parking was below decks though.BUSBY.

Hi we traveled out on the Galicia in july imo:-
Food excellent
Bar ok reasonable prices
Inside cabin clean nice shower
Thats it nothing else to do except duty free. Some gym equipment on deck but too cold and wet to use.
Not a patch on the other two boats much prefer the Cap Finistere.

I think the idea is to strandardise the fleet to some extent. Beter for maintanance. Though some will run on oil and some gas. No character to these vessels. Cheap Chinese build. Stena and BF will give you the designed in Europe, components sourced from europe etc. But they are poorly asembled and I am not sure the build quaility will withstand the Channel and Biscay too well.

Cap Finistere wich is one of my favourites and Pont Aven for the Balcony cabins are what we will miss. Though I have a booking for PA next Easter.

Its a real shame. It alomost like they are going down the cheap seats route. But if thats what people want?
