I'm a newbie
I'm travelling in Spain in my Autosleeper symbol 2006, a few days ago central locking stopped working and at same time electric front windows wouldn't work.
A very kind gentleman fellow traveller replaced he 20 amp fuse for me but i am concerned as to what caused this in the first place.
Any ideas what could have tripped the fuses so that i can prevent the his happening again.
Many thanks hanks for any replies.

This is a real nightmare scenario. The fault is not there now so it can't be found, well, unless you examine every inch of wiring for chaffing against the chassis, or take everything to pieces.

Normally you have to wait for the next fuse to blow immediately, then there is something to measure.

If the windows are the kind that keep trying to move until you let go of the switch (and a lot are like that) then the fuse has quite a hard time. Fuses age anyway but if they're warmed up by a stalled motor they can age even faster. That is likely what happened to yours.

7 years campers before that
If they were both not working and after a fuse change they are then yes it seems they share a fuse
