I'm a newbie
I can not believe I am posting this but having read the came with vehicle Peugeot handbook stating three fuse boxes I can only find two ie One under bonnet and, One on right hand side of steering wheel ( right hand drive ) the Under bonnet one ties in with correct fuses ratings as per handbook, But drivers side with the OBD port does not, All I’m looking for is a switched fuse thinking cigarette lighter to hard wire my dash cam

One behind drivers seat about 6” square

Use a piggy back fuse from the fuse box drivers side that’s what I have done.

We've got a 2013 FIAT Ducato which I think has the same fuse box at the drivers right knee. If so, this is the fuse I used to piggyback for our dashcam. The blue square is the nut I used for the earth connection.

In addition, the actual layout of ours is different to that shown in the manual as per attached .pdf

Thanks Viper I would piggy back fuse within the OBD fuse box as I have the kit but would love to know which fuse is which as they do not tie in with the handbook so trial and error perhaps

Thanks Jellyneck that’s looks as per mine thank you, any idea what that fuse might power ?

Yes.(y)

OK, I tell you!:giggle:
Believe it's F49 and powers - Parking sensor control unit, radio, steering wheel controls, central control panel, left control panel, auxiliary panel, battery disconnecting control unit (+key), Trailerhook, Rain sensor, Current stabiliser (for S&S)

On ours 2013 Peugeot Boxer the cigarette lighter fuse is located in the fuse box under the bonnet, it would have been much easier to access if located inside the van

piggy back off the back of the cigarette lighter socket. The fuse for it is in the box under the bonnet 10 amp red

Thank you everyone great help as always I will do it tomorrow

I think some dashcams stipulate a 5A fuse in the circuit. Ours does.
Also, if you're mounting the dashcam at the top of the screen cable routing is much easier from the "driver's knee" fusebox.

Yep Nextbase dash cam came with 5A piggy back fuses would like to permanently mount at top of screen but blinds will not close unless its possible to make a cut out as they have already have to go around the central mirror ? Plenty of clearance if mounted at bottom of screen just trying to avoid constantly removing the mini USB

We were "in luck" with ours as the mirror got knocked off so ....

Not got one but would this work for you?

Yep it also came with that mount and another but still not quite enough room, planning to upgrade the media set up soon so rear view / reverse camera could be on screen etc, Then rear view mirror could be removed
