What are your reasons for/not displaying a funsters sticker...?

Stickers are a bit naff.

They also may react with the polycarbonate windows or exterior finish in the same way you are warned not to put them on motorbike helmets.

They always leave a residue/faint image when removed.

I must say I can understand some posters desire not to have total strangers knocking your door when you're in the middle of doing whatever you're in the middle of doing.

I know this makes me sound a real grump but I don't feel duty bound to talk to everyone just because I share 1 common interest, if I did I would never make it to the toilet block!

My last van had a yellow crit d'air sticker not too dissimilar to a fun sticker from a distance (although I didn't know this at the time)
I wondered why people strode confidently up to my van and when closer had a quick discussion and turned around.

It is entirely possible they may have recognised me though :>)

Enough
We have one in the windscreen on the drivers side, only ever seen one other over the last year (not including Peterborough show and a stay at MHfun headquarters in Sutton on Sea)

I wear my funsters sticker with pride :party3: but I do see a lot of pictures of members vans with no sticker and that includes well known funsters.....

What are your reasons for/not displaying a funsters sticker...?

which are easily available via the link on the main page...

I'm shy. :)

There is a MH just around the corner from me with a sticker. How do I identify him without giving his location away. He is up on jacks and lives in a posh house very near a cemetery and a railway station. As do I Sidcup area.
I have stickers on side and rear and even my Mhf name só all can see who’s in front of them and when on my drive if parked inwards see pic !!! Or at a rally Flatpackchicken

I have had stickers on two of our vans - first one the Laika - two weeks later we sold it and I couldn't get the sticker off. Second one the Rhythm stuck it on and two weeks later we px'd it and I couldn't get the sticker off. The current van is perfect so I am loath to stick a sticker on it or in two weeks time....

Mr Colpot, I give it two weeks, or if you like let us say a fortnight :Eeek: :ROFLMAO:

Have I got a sticker, what, no sticker, ah, what a bad boy I am, I must remember and write a memorandum to my self, 'buy a first class stamp (around £5), also buy a large enough envelope to hold around 10 stickers (as the van will be sold within a month of apply said stickers one @ the front & one @ the back), limit myself to no more than five motorhomes as I would run out of stickers o_O::bigsmile:::bigsmile::imoutahere:

Flook :coolest: (wearing shades for anonymity).

Only ever seen one funster sticker and that was on a ccc rally in Spain. I introduced myself and he never made an effort to speak for the 2 weeks we were there?
