I've got a large one on the backbedroom window saying 'motorhome fun '. After a couple of bad experiences I always remove it if sleeping in a layby. o_O
Joy that made me laugh ha ha...

We have ours, always have, still even refer to the mad house when we meet new people

Someone did ask me the other day when I was parked at Banff if that was some sort of dogging in motorhomes thing.
I replied I don't have a dog....... Then the penny dropped

I noticed one on . The van. Next to us in an aire In. Spain. Made a point if going there and chatting to them, they sort of rebuffed me so I haven't bothered since ,talking to people..
I've done that a few times with the same response.
I'm not including you @Theonlysue. We had some good chats and I enjoyed the meal we had.

We have always had stickers in our windscreen of one sort or another, can't see the harm in it really.even though we have one on the windscreen I have never really liked the term funster ,just doesn't seem right to me ,just my opinion I'm sure others will disagree.

It seems really odd that people get that reaction, most people I speak to seem very friendly regardless of whether they are funsters or not. It has to be said though that people don't tend to admit to being a funster if I have mentioned the forum.

Please do not get me wrong. I have been a so called funster for 2 years, and the help and advice given to me on the forum has been invaluable and i probably would not be sitting here in Spain, sort of full timing, without it.
Having said that, there is a distinct difference between joking and advising on a forum and actually having to socialise with someone you do not know just because you own a motorhome.
So my advice is, if you do not want happy, smiley idiots knocking on your precious motorhome door that just want to say hello, then REMOVE THE STICKER.NOW!
PS Hi to to all in webby1

There is a MH just around the corner from me with a sticker. How do I identify him without giving his location away. He is up on jacks and lives in a posh house very near a cemetery and a railway station. As do I Sidcup area.

I wear my funsters sticker with pride :party3: but I do see a lot of pictures of members vans with no sticker and that includes well known funsters.....

What are your reasons for/not displaying a funsters sticker...?

which are easily available via the link on the main page...
The price of a stamp ! FLT's rule.
