The post office tell me that the pressie I sent was delivered a week ago, but the recipient has not posted to say they have it. I have not recieved mine .

Perhaps they are waiting for Christmas Day!!!

Well Santa delivered my presentS (2!!!) today and I must say that Santa's Little Helper did a wonderful job on the very beautiful wrapping. Can't wait for Christmas day - thank you Santa (or perhaps Mrs Santa? ).

P.S. Can we all post when we have received our pressies as I'm starting to get worried that Santa hasn't delivered the one I sent and it was posted 10 days ago.

Will be sending mine to its recipient tomorrow afternoon. was going to do it beginning of week but the snow in my area really messed up that plan. Though we have not had mail or deliveries for nearly a week now lol.

apparently my daughter had accepted the parcel and just placed under the xmas tree without telling me!!!! Just noticed the Brown Envelope! She said it arrived last week ???

I got mine last week, sorry for not saying so earlier... just in case anybody was in a panic about me not getting it! Managed to finally get mine sent today as there was a delay on the delivery and I ended up opening, wrapping and repacking it in my car after I picked it up, so apologies for the rubbish packing

I do admit to "possibly" working out what it is but not knowing the subject matter I wait with eager anticipation! Thank you very much lovely Santa!

spoke to my daughter this evening. she now works at a call centre dealing with a household name courier. at one single depot they have an overflow area of parcels not even processed yet but due out for delivery days ago. this pile contains in excess of 45,000 parcels that they are trying to clear. it is the exact same problem around the country with ALL their distribution depots

that is just one mainstream courier company, but they are all the same and gridlocked around the uk. thousands of agency workers are employed to take up the extra strain but are in the main useless and causing as many issues as they fix. like sending eastern european migrants with virtually no english out on delivery routes in hired vans. they use a satnav but struggle to deliver the right parcel to its recipient. i have had 2 this week ring my doorbell, hand me a parcel whilst pointing at the label and say "this you?" "you parcel?". one of them was wrong name, wrong address, but he came back 2 hours later with the right one. how many times a day are they getting it wrong? all i know is one call centre for one company has its phone lines red hot from 07:30 to 19:30 every day the last couple of weeks. each of the staff members on the phones has to answer 150 calls per day in those 12 hours. and just about every customer is seriously pissed off. the call handlers chase the depots and if a parcel is truly lost has to seek permission for a refund. with the call volume it must be costing millions to put right. but the company and others are profitable

Looking forward to opening it...I wonder if the sender has a dog?....a male dog? As little Millie is in season and feeling a bit friuty and she was very interested in it...or maybe it's cheese?!
