FUNSTER 365 - A Project you can do too (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Jim volunteered me.. only to happy to help out with this fun project

For those who haven't used Picasa it is really easy, once logged in, you will see the album: Motorhomefun 365 Album 2009

To keep things simple we decided to use just one album, that way if anyone drops out their pics will still be included .... one album, one slide show, that means all the pics will get seen by anyone visiting.

There is no need for the Picasa uploader, so don't download it, simply upload from the album..

Once your pic is there, open it and edit the caption, be sure to put the date and your screen name..

PM me for the password and log in name.

A Monthly album

Our 'Ringleader' has pointed out that as there are eight participants the number of potential images is going to be in the order of 2880 far too many to view at one go .. oh:oh:

So, to keep the images more viewer friendly I will create a new album for each month ..
When 1st February comes around just select that album to upload to..
If anyone is having difficulties PM me ..

An interesting idea this Jim, so many varied photos, and an insight into where you all live.

I like the ones with a bit more information as to where why and how the pics are taken. :thumb: Should make an interesting album when each month is finished.

Hi Maria ..

Jim hasn't indicated whether he still wants them on Fun, I suspect not as he has limited server space .. no need to now if they are on Picasa for viewing .

OK, I have just moved my pictures from the album here to the new Funster 365 Album Link Removed Just got to take todays. , I am finding that the taking is OK as I have my camera with me all day, but its the processing and uploading that I find tedious. Its worth it when they are there though:thumb:

I don't think it will be easy, but google "project 365" for plenty of inspiration

i dont think it will be fat i gue its getting into picasa first time
with a misspelt password the got me snookered
till mr wildman loaned me an e for the end
i kept missin scotjimland
even stumbled into the quiz
no point me stopping there
even if i had answers in front of me
i would pick wrong answer

just to add i now have dedicated a camara and lappy for funster365
i have added my pics please jim/scotjimland can you move them within picasa if need be

I've moved your pics into the January 365 album .. and deleted your album ..

When uploading you don't need to create a new album just select the existing one.. you'll soon get the hang of it.. :thumb:

Jim,
Could you please delete the folder (empty) that I had tried to start? I cannot.
I had tried to follow Tofo's example of creating and uploading to a personal folder but realised after starting that this is probably not the ideal thing to do.

I do hope members are visiting the funster365 site to view the photos, link is on the home page under media tab down lefthand side, don't forget to leave your comments we look forward to receiving them.
As to the project itself I think a little tweaking is required to get everyone using the same naming format to allow easier sorting. I suggest as follows

DD - month -YY - Username - comment or description

that way it is hopefully possible to sort on the date, how about it Jim can it be better ordered, I do find my photos are mixed up, any idea why, I upload everyday so one should follow another. What are they currently sorting on?
