What software you gonna go to Jim ?

I've heard that Jim's using Microsoft FrontPage for the general layout...so Internet Explorer only from now on.

And, for the back-end, he's brought in the same consultants who did such a fantastic job with the C&CC's booking system a couple of years ago.

Personally, I can't wait.

Good luck Jim. I look forward to seeing the new site. Hopefully it will make it really easy to search for things
Thanks

Still making mistakes! But they're not as costly.
Good news. :thumb: will the new set up include an updated Campsite Review section?

Mid June this year we will be changing the software that the forums run on.
If we have certain threads bookmarked for future reference, I'm guessing those bookmarks will cease to work?

Should we be saving anything we want to refer back to now - if only to act as a reminder to find them under the new software so that we can re-bookmark them?

Good luck.

I know how fraught such updates can be, but the people on here are a good bunch so I'm sure they'll cut you some slack.

Hope the new one works well on mobile phones as I'd prefer to use the site that way nowadays.

The change should happen late next week, we've got a lot of testing to do yet.

If fun is using new software then the URL of your bookmarks will change so it may be worth making a note... Although sometimes people leave the old software running alongside for a short time.
