Your sentiments seconded here :thumb:Let's hope it isn't a temporary seasonal "blip"

The chancellor won't feel so bad about levying his ongoing tax rises on fuel now.

 Supply and demand?

Well, Judging by the empty forecourt every time I go past, demand isn't that high at that price.

I can see yet another garage going out of business...............

Morrisons have joined in by cutting diesel and petrol prices as of last night.

Sainsburys are giving 5p off per litre vouchers but you have to spend over £50 in store first.

Off to local Morrisons in a while to fill up van ready for weekend :winky:

 Supply and demand? If everyone started switching back to petrol? It would reverse the prices again.
Absolutely right.

Like many i still remember when diesel engined car were few and far bewteen and those that were around were pretty poor. People bought them because diesel was a lot cheaper than petrol. Then development improved to the point you now have many diesel cars giving amazing performance.

Diesel prices shot up above petrol.

Once Government have got us back to the pony and trap......they will tax donkey crap and tell us we should be walking everywhere.....then tax footwear. I'm just surprised they haven't dreamt up a way to slap a tax on the air we breathe.......yet!:Angry:

Our local Shell garage at Carland Cross, near Truro, has just dropped it's price to 113.9 for unleaded. :thumb:

If you spend £50 at Sainsbury's in Truro, you get 5p off per litre - jolly good - except their unleaded is priced at 118.9 per litre :Eeek::Eeek:

Well done, Sainsbury's - good marketing ploy :Angry::Angry:

If it gets very cold this Winter it may be cheaper to live in and heat our Motorhome in the driveway, and just use the house to collect our mail.
