Thanks for these links. Will be arriving in 45 mins (train) and will be able to compare fuel prices - sometimes the first fuel station after the train exit is very cheap, sometimes it has been expensive.

Sorry, but those price indications are out of date on both links.

Fuel prices have risen a couple of centimes, or so, recently and the cheapest I have SEEN has been 1€15.9 per litre. That was at Carrefour Limoges on Saturday.

That's about £1.05 a litre at a conversion rate 1.10 which is about what you should get on a card now, give or take a bit. Cheaper than the UK.

We were there last week the cheapest at a small town supermarket (as usual) was 1.115 eoro more or less apound a litre so a bit cheaper than the UK

Burgundy Supermarket prices average €1.179 with €1.149 being the cheapest we can find.

I've been here 12days, currently in Biscarrosse, so travelled a few miles..
Cheapest so far €112.9, average seems to be €116.9, motorways up to €1.37...

Fuel at the first station after the train exit was €1.24/l for diesel. Carrefour Market was €1.16/l

Sadly not and it took me an extra half an hour when we pootled about but I have had occasions when the difference was much greater and the diversion more interesting than today.
