hi all does anyone know how much fuel is a ltr in france at the moment in euro,s please anyone,
In May Diesel went from €0.96 to €1.38. I doubt it's got cheaper.
seems like it goes up as the season starts then goes down after,
about 3 weeks ago I paid around 1.03€ on average with one exceptional 0.96€ at various supermarkets...
Auchan Calais website usually has their current fuel price....
(it's their version of 'current', could be a week old )
Have a look at http://www.theaa.com/onlinenews/allaboutcars/fuel/2009/june2009.pdf
it gives all of Europe
Check out this site gives fuel prices for every garage in france
Comparer les prix du carburant
Just click on map for area you are interested up comes a list of garages with fuel prices and date
 Just passed through France from Spain. Both countries were charging very similar prices. Between 98.9 and 1.20 depending on where you bought from. Supermarkets are ALWAYS cheaper.
Just got back from France yesterday, I was paying on average 112 Euros PL, that was on main roads, it may be cheaper in the supermarkets.
Returned yesterday Supermarkets 0.99 Total the most expensive around £1.11.:thumb:
0.96 cts per litre at our local Intermarche supermarket yesterday. The price did rise last weekend to 1 euro but has come down again this week.
We have just come back from 4 weeks tour around France south - west - north and the middle, they all varied from 0.99 to 1.03 if you go to supermarkets if you want to look at other garages fuel prices !!!!!! From 1.03 to about 1.19, me I always find the supermarkets, filled my motorhome back up in my region Saturday pas de- Calais,... Hesdin.....at Intermarche 0.99 per litre
But I must say fuel in France changes every day more or less up and of coarse it goes Down
Also these prices have been around in France for about 12 months now coming down to about 0.87 and going up to about 1.04…………..still cheaper than UK prices.
Hope this helps you and have yourself a good holiday

Couple of weeks ago we found that Le Clerc at Rivesaltes was cheapest at
€0.93 (diesel). In Perigeux the hypermarket (can't remember which one) was selling it for €0.94 and the garage right next door had it at €1.09. Why do they bother?
