Wish I could find more filling stations at these prices all along my route.

We were travelling from Bessain towards Pamplona and as we pulled off the main road Cathryn spotted this place.

It was 1.14€ when we was there in August. (y)
We are inland about an hour from malaga and its 1.17€, we can live with that. Bob.

Ouch! prices definitely up since August :)

have a play on this fuel price site . i find its very interesting .
we do fill up at ruyco petrol every time we arrive or leave from santander .
but it works in most of eu , just play around with country and towns etc .

We paid €1.089 at Lleida a few days ago. We used Fuel Flash and when we pulled up at a Truck Company barrier, we thought we'd made a mistake. But a chat with a worker got the barriers opened for us and we had no problem as long as we could pay via Visa!

here in pamplona seems like a good price.

Thanks for that Alan. We are pulled in only 3km from the cheapest. Will fill before leaving.

The last time we filled was near Limoges. Even at a supermarket the price was over €1.25.

always worth giving it a try if you are getting low on fuel.
like i say if you know a place you visit on your travels have a play.

Anyone using Bio or vegetable oil? I used to use veggie oil in my xtrail when it was £1.50 for 3 litres done 50,000 miles, never had to touch the engine for repairs. Only a little smoke now and then the biggest problem was people asking for COD and chips twice??

I have used all sorts over the years.. even some cooking oil the local chippy was outing..I very technically filtered it through a couple of pairs of tights ! ( all of this in various 2006 - 2007 Fiat Ducatos )

I found too much water in the free oil from the chippy. I still have to find out if i can use it in my Peugeot 2.2 diesel

I tend to buy fuel when I am down to a quarter of a tank, the price is really immaterial compared to the cost of running out, always keep my eyes open though, €1.129 in Vinaros on Friday

Drove for three days through France from St Nazaire to the Pyrenees via the Cevennes last week and never saw anywhere less than €1.40

Just travelled length of France and best we saw was 1.43 and worst about 1.67. Paid 1.16 in Spain this morning

I tried the old cooking oil game only once, ended up with 45gal drum of solidified gunge. Still got it. Don't know what to do with it. Would have cost a fortune to dispose of it via council recycling facility.

Carried on using Lidl vegetable oil in my early Kia sedona 2.9 until the price overtook diesel.

Try and fill up at Intermarchs in Portugal, we find them the cheapest, €1.30 in our area.

Would love to think I could be there to use it. But will already have used up my 90 days out of 180 in Europe before we normally get into Portugal. BBBB.

Fiil up at the top of the hill before Dover port then run through France & refill in Jaca.(y)

I think I was paying that in Luxembourg. I liked the flap over the diesel pump idea in some Belgian garages, so you have to make a conscious effort to lift a flap with diesel written on it to fill up. Only drawback the flap was green and sometimes the diesel pump was yellow, so not surprised people are getting confused. Maybe the EU should spend less time on Brexit and more time standardising fuel pump colours in Europe, there is a much easier job.

Sounds like it had been contaminated with fat.. If the place you got from did kebabs they proly drained the fat in to the waste

But it is free heat still get hond of an iron fir pit for the garden.. scoop some of the goo in to it, and chuck a log in. Put a layer or 10 of newspaper on that and some kindling on that ... should burn for ages
