£1.37.9 was £1.38.9 last week

Wahoo our local stn price came down today to £1.35.9 as I was on empty was going to fill up this morning at £1.37.9 only the tanker was filling the forecourt n thought blow i will do it later then n have to pay more now grrr

But a nice surprise to see it less this afternoon :thumb::thumb::thumb:

still paying just under £1.37 a litre for diesel here in london although petrol has dropped significantly to £1.31

Asda Suttton in Ashfield yesterday 30 june diesel 132.7, did'nt notice what price petrol was but we topped up car and mh as its the cheapest we've seen for a while

Price Check

Driving home from Cornwall last weekend on the M5 I didn't want to pay motorway prices so checked with http://www.petrolprices.com and found a station in Stafford 10p a litre cheaper at 132.9 and only a couple of miles of the motorway.

Asda is the cheapest here in Dartford. £132.7 for Diesel and 128.9 for Petrol.

Morrisons and Esso and other garages in the vicinity are 135.9 for Diesel and 131.9 for Petrol.

No wonder the queues at the Asda petrol station were so long. We need to get Diesel today before we go out for the weekend. I think we will just join the queue.

Diesel is 74p/ltr at the local canal basin, but not for vehicles or boats. But boats have to pay tax & only agricultural vehicles can use Red diesel tax free!
